Cifas Marker
Do you want Revolut to review a CIFAS Marker?
Here's what to do if you’d like the information that CIFAS holds on you to be reviewed:
Contact us at marker-disputes@ravolut.com, include your account number and sort code, as well as your updated email address.
Include all documentation you have regarding the credits received in your account, and any other information that supports your appeal.
Make sure to detail exactly why you think the CIFAS marker should be removed. Our experts might get in touch with you to request additional information or documentation.
We will review your case and provide a Final Decision with our decision via email, this might take up to 5 business days.
How to proceed if you disagree with Revolut's final decision:
If you don't agree with the decision we make, the next step is to submit a formal complaint to CIFAS. You can file your complaint for a marker review on the CIFAS official website. The Final Decision email issued by marker-disputes@ravolut.com should be used to log the dispute directly with CIFAS.
Filling a complaint directly with Revolut will not overturn our decision, only the direct escalation to CIFAS may help with that.
What is CIFAS?
CIFAS is the UK’s fraud prevention service. It is a not-for-profit organisation hosting a database that holds details of fraudulent activity across the UK.
It has more than 260 members spread across banking, credit cards, asset finance, retail credit, mail order, insurance, savings and investments, telecommunications, factoring, and share dealing.
Financial organisations that have a membership with CIFAS will be able to access this information to reduce the risk of fraud and financial loss for both themselves and other CIFAS members.
