What's an IBAN bank account?
The International Banking Account Number (IBAN) system is a globally recognised way of identifying bank accounts across national borders. You can use your account's unique IBAN code to receive money transfers from all over the world.
Most basic bank accounts let you receive money in one currency, but with Revolut you get account details for the 38 currencies you can keep in-app. This makes it easy to receive money from different countries and keep up with payments abroad. It's like having multiple offshore accounts, except you have all your money in one place.
