What is this promotion about?
- What: Revolut is offering new customers the chance to receive either EUR 20 or 20 GBP (the Offer) upon opening a new Revolut account; and be entered into a ticket draw for a chance to win an access code in order to be able to purchase a ticket to participate in the BMW Berlin Marathon 2026 (the Prize Draw). Note that the access code has no economic value.
- Who: New customers residing in Germany, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, or Spain (the Market(s)) who complete the required steps below through the Revolut x BMW Berlin Marathon 2025 in-app landing page (the Landing Page).
- When: The promotion will be available only for the time period specified on the Landing Page (the Promotion Period).
You must comply with these terms, and the Personal Terms that apply to your Revolut Personal account to participate in this promotion.
Eligibility and required steps
To be eligible for this promotion, you must:
- have a registered address in a Market,
- be a new customer who has never held a Revolut Personal account with any Revolut group entity,
- sign up for a Revolut Personal account through the Landing Page, and
- be at least 18 years old.
The required steps are:
- Navigate to the Landing Page and enter your phone number to obtain your sign-up link (each a Unique Link).You can get the link to the Landing Page either by receiving it through the Berlin Marathon newsletter or social media.
- Use your Unique Link to open a Revolut Personal account.
- Make a card payment of at least EUR 0.01 or GBP 0.01. Your first card payment can be made using a Revolut card linked to your Revolut Personal account. It must be a genuine purchase (for example, transactions to payment service providers, other bank accounts and e-wallets will not qualify).
All required steps must be completed before the end of the Promotion Period.
If you sign up using the normal account opening process in our app, you will not be able to take part in this Promotion.
How do I earn the Offer?
If you are eligible, the Revolut group entity that provides you with your Personal account will credit the Offer to the main balance of your Revolut Personal account within 3 business days after you complete the required steps.
How do I enter the Prize Draw?
Revolut will randomly select the winner(s) from all eligible participants within 2 business days after the end of the Promotion Period. We will notify the winner via the email address associated with their Revolut Personal account.
The winner must respond to accept the prize and confirm they will use the self-pay ticket within 48 hours of being notified.
If the winner does not respond within this period, or if we determine during this time that they no longer meet the eligibility criteria, the prize will be forfeited and we will randomly select another winner.
The prize consists of an access code for the Berlin Marathon. Please note the following details about this prize:
- Once the winner accepts the prize, we will send an email with full instructions on how to use the access code.
- The access code allows the winner to redeem a guaranteed spot on the SCC Events (the event organiser) registration page. The winner is responsible for purchasing and paying for the ticket themselves.
- Although the event is currently sold out to the general public, this access code allows the winner to complete registration and secure a spot.

Changes or early end | If the promotion changes or ends early, we will tell you the same way we invited you to the promotion (e.g. email, push notification, in-app). Don’t worry – if you’ve already taken part in the promotion, changes to the terms won’t affect you unless the promotion is suspended or ends because of reasonably unforeseen circumstances outside of our control which make it impossible to run. |
Fraud or rule-breaking | If you breach the Revolut Personal Terms, these terms, or participate in the promotion fraudulently, we may reverse any Offer. By proceeding, you authorise any such reversal in advance. |
Account closed or restricted | To receive the Offer, you must have an active Personal account (not closed, suspended, or restricted) throughout the Promotion Period and/or at the time you are due to receive the Offer. |
Taxes | You’re responsible for any local tax that applies to your Offer. Revolut doesn’t accept any liability for tax arising from your participation in the promotion. |
Tax in Spain | If you are a resident of Spain, any prize, such as the Offer, is subject to Personal Income Tax. The full amount of the prize will be paid to you, and no withholding will be applied. You are solely responsible for declaring the value of your Offer and paying any applicable taxes (currently 19%) to the Spanish tax authorities. |
