Hospitality & Events Privacy Notice

1. Introduction

This notice explains how Revolut Ltd. (“we", “us” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you sign up to or attend events coordinated or hosted by us.

2. What data do we collect?

We may collect the following details about you:

  • Contact details (such as your name, email address, phone number)
  • Identity documentation (such as your passport or government ID).
  • Travel and logistics information (such as your dietary requirements, accessibility needs, and hotel preferences).
  • Merchandise preferences (such as clothing sizes).
  • Photos and Videos. We may take photos or film at our events for social media or internal use. We’ll always let you know at the venue if filming is taking place.

We will usually collect these details from you directly. However, we may sometimes obtain them through a third party, such as your employer.

3. Why do we need this data and what is our legal basis?

Under data protection law, we must have a "legal basis" to process your data for any purposes. The purposes for which we process your personal data as well as the lawful basis for this processing are set out in the table below.

For marketing and promotional purposes. For example, we may use images from events as part of our social media content.

4. Who do we share your data with?

We may need to share your details with the following third parties to achieve the purposes set out above:

  • Third party event partners (for example, where necessary for accreditation).
  • Travel providers, such as airlines, hotels, and transport companies.
  • Our other service providers who help us plan and coordinate events.

5. International Transfers

We coordinate events globally. As a result, your data may be transferred to countries outside the UK or the European Economic Area. Whenever we share your data internationally, we ensure it is protected by using Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognised safeguards.

6. Your rights

You have certain rights under data protection laws, including the right to:

  • access a copy of the personal data which we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct your personal data if you think it's wrong;
  • ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances;
  • object to us processing your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your personal data in certain circumstances;
  • ask us to transfer personal data to you or another company in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format in certain circumstances; and
  • withdraw your consent (where you have previously given us this).
