Revolut x BMW Berlin Marathon 2025 Promotion Starter Kit

What is this promotion about?

Revolut has partnered with the BMW Berlin Marathon (the Partner) to offer new Personal customers in France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom (together, the Markets):

• EUR 20 (or the local currency equivalent) in their newly opened Revolut Personal account (a Welcome Bonus); and
• an entry into a prize draw for the chance to be one of five winners of EUR 200 each (or the local currency equivalent) (together, the Prizes).

These terms set out how this promotion works. You must comply with these terms and also the terms and conditions that apply to your Revolut Personal account to participate in this promotion.

To participate in this promotion, you must complete the required steps below in the time specified on the landing page accessible via the QR code at the Revolut booth and in the starter kit that each runner receives (the Promotion Period).

Required Steps

To be eligible for this promotion, you must:

• have a registered address in a Market,
• not have and have never previously have held a Revolut Personal account with any Revolut group entity and
• be at least 18 years old.

The required steps are:

• click the unique promotion link provided on the landing page;
• open a new Revolut personal account using this unique link; and
• make a card payment of at least 0.01 EUR (or the local currency equivalent).

If you sign up using the normal account opening process in our App, you won’t be eligible to participate in this promotion.

Your first card payment can be made using a physical or virtual Revolut card linked to your Revolut Personal account. It must be a genuine purchase (for example, transactions to other payment service providers, other bank accounts and e-wallets don’t count as genuine).

When do I get the Welcome Bonus?

The Welcome Bonus will be credited to your Revolut Personal account within three business days after you successfully complete all the required steps.

How does my entry to the prize draw work?

Within One business day after the end of the Promotion Period, we’ll randomly select five winners and credit the Prize to their Revolut Personal accounts within 10 business days.

If we realise you’re no longer eligible to receive the Prize after we have contacted you, we won’t be able to give you the Prize, and will randomly select another winner.

The Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any other type of compensation. You must accept the Prize as is if you win.

Legal bits and pieces

1. We may change, suspend or end this promotion earlier than the Promotion Period if we believe that:

• someone is abusing this promotion,
• the running of this promotion is harming Revolut’s goodwill or reputation, or
• any reasonably unforeseeable circumstances that are outside of our control arise and make it impossible for us to run this promotion.

2. If we change, suspend or end this promotion, we may do this for specific individuals or everyone.

3. If we change, suspend or end the promotion before the end of the Promotion Period, we’ll let you know the same way we announced this promotion and, where possible, we will give you notice through the app and/or email.

4. If you’ve already participated in this promotion by the time we change, suspend or end it before the end of the Promotion Period, you won’t be affected. You may still be affected if we suspended or ended the promotion because reasonably unforeseeable circumstances that are outside of our control made it impossible for us to run it.

5. If you have participated in this promotion and have not received your Welcome Bonus or Prize, please contact us through the Support section of the App.

6. To the extent permissible by law, we won’t be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage that you suffer as a result of something or circumstances that are reasonably unforeseeable and outside our control despite us taking reasonable care. For example, failures of a third party, legal or regulatory intervention or obligations and hardware or software issues which lead to us not being able to run this promotion. We won’t be liable for any indirect loss.

7. We don’t have to pay you your Welcome Bonus or the Prize if your new Personal account becomes suspended or restricted before we have paid it to you, or if you’re no longer eligible to receive these.

8. We may not give you the Prize or reverse the Welcome Bonus if:

• you did not complete the required steps, or
• you have engaged in fraud or material abuse or have breached these terms or any other Revolut terms which apply to you.

9. By participating in this promotion, you confirm that you understand that any benefit you receive as part of this promotion may be subject to local income tax in the country of your residence and/or in the local territory where you are a tax resident. It is your responsibility to pay any tax which may arise from receiving any benefit. We will not be liable for any tax obligations which may arise from this promotion.

11. If you are resident of Spain: Please take into account that this Reward is subject to the Personal Income Tax as income from movable capital subject to withholding (according to applicable legislation and without prejudice to the provisions of the provincial tax systems). You, as the recipient of the Reward, must declare an income from movable capital in your savings tax base determined by the full amount of the Reward received, and may deduct the withheld amount from the personal income tax quote. The full amount of the Reward will be the Reward communicated in the promotion Invite plus the tax we are obliged to withhold. We will levy on that amount the 19 % withholding tax and the Reward amount will be the result of that calculation.
