Revolut x F1 Prize Draw Promotion Terms

What is this promotion about?

  • What: you enter into a prize draw for a chance to win the prize listed on the promotion’s landing page (the Prize).
  • Who: new Revolut Personal customers residing in Austria, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom (the Markets) who complete the required steps below.
  • When: the promotion will be available only for the time period specified in the promotion’s landing page (the Promotion Period).

To participate in this promotion, you must complete the required steps set out below before the end of the Promotion Period and comply with these terms, as well as the terms of your Personal Account.

Eligibility and required steps

To be eligible for this promotion, you must:

  • have a registered address in a Market,
  • not have or have previously held a Revolut Personal account with any Revolut Group entity,
  • be at least 18 years old, and
  • be eligible to open a Revolut Personal account.

The required step is to open an account: open a Revolut Personal account using the Promotion link. This will be provided on marketing materials issued by Sauber Motorsport AG (the Partner). If you sign up using the normal account opening process in our App, you won’t be eligible to participate in this promotion.

How does my entry to the prize draw work?

Within 7 business days after the end of the Promotion Period, we’ll randomly select 1 winner.

If you’re the winner, we’ll let you know via the email address registered to your Personal account. You’ll have 48 hours from the time we contact you to accept the Prize and provide us with any requested information. If you don’t respond to us within this time or you do not want to receive the Prize, we’ll randomly select another winner.

For tickets to F1 races: The Prize does not include any costs related to travel, accommodation, or other expenses in attending the event. If you win, you’ll be responsible for such costs.

Legal bits and pieces

LEGAL BIT

PIECES

Promotion abuse or misuse

We may suspend, change, or end the promotion – for a specific participant or for everyone – if there are reasonable grounds to determine it’s being abused, could harm Revolut’s goodwill or reputation, or reasonably unforeseeable circumstances that are outside of our control arise and make it impossible to continue the promotion. We will not be liable for any loss if we do so.

Any issues? Contact Support in the Revolut app.

Changes or early end

If that happens, we’ll tell you the same way we invited you to the promotion (e.g. email, push, in-app). We will give notice through the app and/or email.

Don’t worry – if you’ve already taken part in the promotion, changes to the terms won’t affect you unless reasonably unforeseeable circumstances outside of our control have made it impossible for us to run it.

Fraud or rule-breaking

If you breach the Revolut Personal Terms, these terms, or participate fraudulently, we may reverse any Prize awarded to you.

Account closed or restricted

To receive the Prize, you must have an active Personal account (not closed, suspended, or restricted) throughout the Promotion Period and/or at the time you are due to receive the Prize.

Taxes

If you win a cash prize or receive any other benefit from this offer, it might be subject to income tax in your country of residence or where you are a tax resident.

It is your responsibility to pay any tax that might apply. Revolut is not responsible for your tax obligations related to this promotion.

Tax in Spain

If you are a resident of Spain, any prize is subject to Personal Income Tax. We are legally required to withhold 19% tax from your prize before giving it to you.

For your tax return, you must declare the prize's total value (the advertised prize plus the 19% we withheld). You can then deduct the withheld amount from your tax liability.

Prize substitution

If you win the Prize, you’re only entitled to the Prize itself. You can’t request its cash equivalent or swap it for something else.

Data & Privacy

We’ll process your personal data in line with the Customer Privacy Notice.

Sauber Motorsport AG may also collect personal data or send marketing to you in connection with this promotion. See Sauber Motorsport AG's privacy notice (audif1.com/en/privacy-policy) for more details about how they will handle your personal data and contact them to manage your marketing preferences.
