What is a BSB number?
BSB stands for ‘Bank, State, Branch’. It is a 6-character code used to identify the specific bank and branch location of any Australian bank account. While some financial institutions use a unique code for every branch, others may use a single, central BSB for all accounts.
You need a BSB for any bank transfer to an Australian account, whether you're sending from Australia or from overseas. Use your Revolut account to send funds quickly and with low fees.

Format of a BSB number
BSB numbers consist of 6 characters. The first 2 characters identify the bank, the 3rd character indicates the state, and the last 3 characters specify the individual branch.
